First Edition of Kate Greenaway's little (2-5/8 inches high) alphabet for children, with each color-illustrated page bearing a large capital letter upon which young children are climbing or perching. This is a near-fine copy, with very light wear to the green glazed spine; though not scarce, this is a delicate book intended for little hands, and thus seldom turns up in any better condition today.
