First Edition, of which this is one of 400 numbered large paper copies signed by T. S. Eliot (this being copy #278). This was issued as No. 29 in the "Ariel Poems" series; 2000 regular (smaller and unsigned) copies were issued about a week earlier.

This copy is in very good-plus condition (minor wear at the spine ends and along the ridge of the narrow spine). MARINA seems to be scarcer than many of Eliot's other limited/signed editions. Gallup A17b.
