First Edition, second printing (still dated 1884, but with the double-page map of India that also had appeared in the second issue of the first printing, and with the Preface reset into three paragraphs). This was the second Henty book published in Blackie's six-shilling series, following UNDER DRAKE'S FLAG the year before -- and the third Blackie Henty overall, with FACING DEATH the earliest.
This copy has a later ad catalogue, reading "New Series for Season 1885" and including the three additional Henty titles that had come out since WITH CLIVE IN INDIA. Condition is good-plus (covers generally rubbed, minor wear at the foot of the spine). We seldom see this title any better. Newbolt 15.3.
