Westminster: Archibald Constable and Co., 1899. Original blind-stamped blue cloth.
First Edition of this collection of mystical Celtic tales and sketches by "Fiona Macleod," the feminine alter-ego of William Sharp. It is generally agreed that Sharp did his best writing when he wrote as a woman, and it is also been speculated just how deep this personality division might have been.
This is a remarkably fine, bright copy. Colbeck p. 741. Item #11327
