First Edition of this volume containing "several of Mark Twain's funniest sketches, all narrating various journalistic experiences of his youth." As noted on the copyright page, each of these tales had appeared earlier in years between 1875 and 1903. The book is illustrated by F. Strothman and F. Opper.
